Mailing list
Please join the Abbey Line mailing list to receive news updates. Anyone can join, it only takes a moment, and it is free.

Use the short form beneath this text to subscribe. Enter your name, e-mail address, tick the box 'Subscribe', hit the 'Submit Query' button, then follow the instructions.
How does it work?

We will be using this mailing list to keep you up to date with news and events on the Abbey Line, including such things as special trains, engineering work, local events related to the line and volunteer opportunities.

Previous news items are available to see on the Public Archive page which can be found at http://ymlp.com/archive_gesmhwhgjgu.php

Unlike a Yahoo group or similar such arrangements, this mailing list really works in 'one direction' only.

Nobody else is able to see your e-mail address, registration details or send you e-mails except for the mailing list administrator, who is also responsible for the content of the e-mails, so your inbox will not be bombarded! Replies can be sent in the usual way, but only the administrator will receive them.

Unsubscribing

If, at any time, you wish to unsubscribe from the mailing list, you can simply do this by entering your details in the boxes above, ticking the 'unsubscribe' button, and the rest is explained.

Changing your e-mail address

If you change your e-mail address, you can easily update your 'profile' on the mailing list by clicking on the "Unsubscribe / Change Profile" link at the bottom of every e-mail you will have received from the list.

Who runs the mailing list?

The mailing list is provided by www.yourmailinglistprovider.com, but they pledge never to send you any e-mails or promotional literature themself. If you do receive anything from them, please report it immediately to webmaster@abfly.org.uk. The mailing list is administered by ABFLY (the line's user group - see below).

About the Community Rail Partnership (CRP) and ABFLY

ABFLY is a membership organisation of individual passengers and households and represents the interests of all users of the Abbey Line and the service known as The Abbey Flyer. It always welcomes new members and relies on volunteers to help ABFLY campaign for the benefit of members and other passengers. To contact ABFLY, please see details on their website www.abfly.org.uk or visit the ABFLY page of this website..

The Abbey Line Community Rail Partnership (CRP) is an umbrella organisation bringing together community groups; the rail operator; businesses and all tiers of local authorities. The CRP promotes the development of the line and services. This is achieved through policies, events and projects directed by a CRP Steering Group representing all the partners. The main aim of the CRP is to increase patronage and involve the local community more closely in the development of its railway. The CRP is administered with the support of Hertfordshire County Council and can be contacted by e-mail via crp at hertscc.gov.uk, tel 07770 993162, or post at PO Box 99, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford, SG13 8TJ.

PLEASE NOTE that ABFLY is an active partner and supporter of the Community Rail Partnership, and works with the CRP on many shared goals, but both are independent and do not represent the views of the other.
