Your Community Rail Officer - John Gunner
John Gunner is the Abbey Line's Community Rail Officer. Born in Watford and until recently having lived near the Abbey Station, he still lives in St Albans and is an Honorary Alderman and former Deputy Mayor. He describes himself as "very local"!
A professional Mediator with a Masters Degree in Law, he has experience in community engagement and brings skills in communications and cooperative working which he sees as key to help coordinate all the various interests.
John already knows some of the stakeholders and is keen to get to know the others and the wider community and their interests and ambitions for the Abbey Line.
